Management Trainee

 

A. Introduction

Our 2-year Management Trainee Programme offers you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills and pave the way to a successful future career in different business units. It is a great way to explore the career choices that lie ahead of you.

B. Who We Hire

We are looking for high-caliber fresh graduates from reputable Hong Kong and overseas universities to join our Management Trainee Programme.

  • Bachelor degree holder or above in any disciplines with result of 2nd upper or above

  • Entrepreneurial drive and an ability to deliver sustained performance with strong commercial acumen

  • Possess pleasant and outgoing personalities with strong leadership ambition

  • Self-motivation with strong will to learn

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese

C. Programme Details

To develop the trainees’ functional competence and to strengthen their professional skills, we will provide trainees with opportunities to gain all-round exposure, including cross-departmental attachment training, external training courses and on-the-job coaching, etc. You will be able to learn:

  • E-Commerce marketplace & tactics

  • Business workflow and project management

  • Practical knowledge in Advertising and Sales stream

IT Trainee

 

A. Introduction

Our IT Trainee Programme enables you to use what you have learned, expand your knowledge and benefit from invaluable on-the-job experience. It is a great way to explore the career choices that lie ahead of you. The LikeHongKong IT Trainee Programme offers you the great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working for an Internet flagship company. You will work with a team of IT professionals and apply your knowledge learnt from the academy in the business environment.

B. Who We Hire

We are looking for bright graduates who are working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related technical field.

C. Programme Details

The IT Trainees will work with our professionals to tackle the business challenges and deliver solutions in practical environment. During the 24-month programme, you will be rotated across the teams in order to develop your skills in areas such as web development, system maintenance and daily operation support. In the training programme, you will learn:

  • Project Management

  • User Requirement Gathering

  • Business Workflow

  • Web Programming including JAVA, PHP, .Net

  • Mobile App Programming including iOS and Android

  • Database Programming

 

 

Account Manager

 

You will:

  • Managing and developing existing and new accounts to maximize the revenue

  • Provide one-stop-shop advertising and marking solutions to help our business partners or customers achieve their business objectives, including prospecting, proposal preparation, contract closing and provision of after-sales services

  • Achieve revenue targets

 

You should have / be:

  • University graduate preferably in a business discipline

  • A proven track sales record with minimum 3 years’ solid experience in marketing, media sales, corporate sales or related fields

  • Strong business acumen & analytical skills

  • Creative, organized & independent

  • Aggressive and determined to meet sales & other business targets

  • A team player who is able to maintain excellent working relationships with clients and internal departments

  • Good presentation & communication skills in both English & Chinese. Mandarin an advantage

  • Candidates with less experience may be considered for another position of Assistant Account Manager

 

System Analyst (.Net)

 

You will:

  • Conduct system analysis, design and development on clients’ system

  • Execute web-based systems development activities and manage systems roll-out

  • Lead a team of developers to carry out development life cycle and enforce the SDLC standard in the development process

  • Prepare requirement documents, design specifications and test plans

You should have / be:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in IT and web development

  • Hands-on experience of system design and development in MS .NET

  • Hands-on experience on ASP .NET, .NET C#, JavaScript, MSSQL and IIS

  • Strong system analysis and problem solving skills

  • Good communication skills in both English and Chinese. Mandarin an advantage

 

 

Web Developer (.Net)

 

You will:

  • Develop, maintain and implement web applications

  • Perform application testing

  • Provide user support and training

  • Prepare technical documentation

 

You should have / be:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

  • Knowledge in ASP.NET, C#, MS SQL Server, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and AJAX

  • Good communication skill and problem solving skills

  • Good command of spoken English and Cantonese

  • Fresh graduates will also be considered

 

 

Analyst Programmer (JAVA)

 

You will:

  • Be responsible for system design and development of an eCommerce platform of an renowned retail chain store

  • Analyze user requirements from business and prepare functional requirements for system implementation

  • Supervise programmer(s) to carry out system development life-cycle and prepare system roll-out

 

You should have/be:

  • University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines

  • minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in IT and web development

  • Knowledge in JAVA/J2EE, JSF, Spring MVC, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript(jQuery) and SQL programming

  • Hybris and Oracle Database experience is an advantage

  • Supervisory experience is an advantage

  • Strong system analysis and problem solving skills

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese

 

Mobile Application Developer (iOS / Andriod)

 

You will:

  • Develop mobile application (Android or/and iOS)

  • Provide assistance and guideline to colleagues on system design and development

  • Collaborate with teammates to deliver the services and meet project milestones and deadlines

  • Communicate with project managers or clients to gather requirement

  • Analyze requirement

  • Schedule and assign tasks

 

You should have / be:

  • Degree in Computer Science or other computer programming related disciplines

  • A solid understanding of Java programming / Objective-C programming

  • Willing to learn new technologies in mobile industry.

  • 2+ years of experience in iOS app development

  • Strong passion and sensitive to the trend of development in Internet and Mobile

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills

 

Senior Business Executive (eCommerce)

 

You will:

  • Manage the product sourcing, supplier relationship of the eCommerce business; preferable in health & wellness industry;

  • Work with the team closely to achieve company sales target;

  • Get involved in the business development for China & local markets extension via websites and other online channels;

  • Perform business development and growth on CRM program;

  • Provide sales administrative support including market analysis, product update, and management report;

  • Prepare sales report and forecast analysis;

  • Handle specific merchants account for product launch and promotion support

 

You should have / be:

  • Degree Holder;

  • Good understanding of online shopping business and latest trends;

  • At least 4 years’ experience in consumer product, skin care or health product category;

  • Target driven, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;

  • Good negotiation and communication skill;

  • Experience in online advertising esp. in SEM and SEO is an advantage;

  • CRM experience with basic knowledge of Web Analytic, experience in analytic tools (e.g. Google Analytic) is preferred;

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Internet application usage;

  • Excellent command of both spoken and written Chinese, English and preferably Mandarin

 

Senior Corporate Communications Executive

 

You will:

  • Assist in executing for corporate communications and media relations strategies development, external and internal communication, events, branding and publicity programmes

  • Prepare, write, translate, and proof read all written communications in English and Chinese, including electronic and print communications with staff, contributions to company brochures, publications, newsletters, speeches, marketing materials,sales kits, press releases and others communication materials

  • Maintain corporate websiteand other social media platforms

  • Devise and carry out a wide range of external and internal events, such as corporate, press conferences / media events, award ceremonies, CSR, branding and publicity programmes

  • Coordinate the project workflow from concept planning, recruiting visitors,budgeting, liaison with business partners, production, logistic and rundown development, on-site management to post-event evaluation

  • Work closely with vendors and other external parties to develop and execute different projects

  • Support and assist other business units on external and internal communication projects to ensure a consistent brand messages are delivered

  • Manage any ad hoc marketing duties as assigned by the management

 

You should have / be:

  • Degree holder in Communications, Language or Journalism

  • Minimum 5+ years relevant experience in corporate communications, marketing, PR and/or event management

  • Excellent command of English writing skill is a must

  • Self-motivated and capable to work under pressure 

  • A team player, creative, flexible, independent with strong interpersonal skills

  • Dynamic, outgoing, pleasant and people oriented personality

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with near native fluency in English and Chinese

  • Ability to prioritize effectively and manage multiple tasks
