Electricity 電力：

The voltage in Hong Kong is 220V, therefore appliances from the US., Japan and other countries that use 110V will not work. A universal adapter can be bought from any electrical or appliance store and used to convert the different systems.

香港的電壓為220V，因此來自美國，日本和其他使用110V的電器將無法使用。您可到電器商店購買轉換器，以轉換合適之供電壓。

Q: The electricity has suddenly gone out.

Q：電力突然停了。

A: There is a central breaker box located within the apartment. Locate this box before moving in. There could be a switch in the breaker box that has been flipped down, because of a circuit overload in one of the rooms. This switch can be easily moved back to position.

答：住宅內有一個中央斷路器盒，您可以找到這個盒子。由於其中一個房間的電路過載，斷路器會中斷供電。您可檢查是否有不合適裝置，並將之移除，然後再按斷路器盒開關返回原來位置從開。

Gas 煤氣：

Q: There is a smell of gas in the air and the gas range does not come on.

A: Gas leaks are extremely dangerous and should be attended by the Town Gas service maintenance crew. Please contact them immediately out of your room (please do not call inside the room to avoid exploding) at the first sign of possible gas leaks.
